Picking the letter, the chain and the finish
Start with how loud you want the letter to be. The paperclip coin pendant is 18 mm across and turns on a chain of wide oval links, so the letter reads from across a table. The sterling silver script hangs from a plain 16-inch chain and sits flat on the collarbone, closer to a signature than a sign.
The two layered styles solve the other question, which is what to wear with it. Each comes as two chains with separate clasps: a short choker and a longer pendant chain, two inches apart. You can wear both, or take one off on a day when a collar already crowds the neck. If a letter you want is missing from one finish, look at the same style in the other tones: the paperclip coin, for one, carries many more letters in gold than in rose gold.
