Cubic zirconia, prong and bezel
Cubic zirconia is a lab-made stone cut to catch light the way a diamond does, and on this page it comes set two ways. A prong setting holds the stone on four small claws, so more of it shows and it throws more sparkle. A bezel wraps the edge of the stone in metal, which looks softer and snags less on knits.
The tennis bracelets show the difference best: the four prong and bezel styles use 3 mm stones, and you choose 6.5, 7 or 7.5 inches. On the necklace stacks, the CZ drops range from a small round stone to a 9 by 15 mm flower, each hanging from a 16-inch chain below a 15-inch wave choker.
